AFTER CARE ADVICE
Temporary reactions after waxing can include slight soreness, redness and small bumps. These symptoms should subside within 24-48 hours, if these persist or you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us.
Keep the waxed area clean, avoid heat and friction during the next 24-48 hours. This means:
No hot baths or showers (washing with tepid water is fine).Do not take part in sport or excessive activity, tanning or saunas etc.,also avoid using fragrances and wear loose clothing. If you have had an intimate area waxed no sexual activity is advised and avoid touching the waxed skin with unwashed hands, taking particular care with hygene after using the toilet.
To soothe and protect the skin, apply an antiseptic cream to the waxed area for 3 days following the treatment.
To prevent ingrowing hairs and keep the skin supple gently exfoliate your skin regularly a few days after your treatment and moisturise the area every day. This will keep the skin supple and help new hairs grow through normally.
A small amount of regrowth will normally be seen after a week. It may take up to 4 treatments for your hair to get on a growth cycle that gives the best results. As hair needs to be 5-6mm long before it can be removed we recommend regular waxing every 4-6 weeks.
